Vehicle Dismantling Facilities

<div style='text-align:Left;'><div><div><p><span>Vehicle Dismantling Facilities (VDF) take in end-of-life vehicles and recover materials from them for reuse and recycling. These materials include scrap metal, gasoline, oil, brake fluid, tires, mercury switches, and lead-acid batteries. VDFs reduce the need to produce new vehicle components, help reduce the amount of landfill space needed for disposal, and can reduce pollution by properly managing vehicle fluids.
