The aim of our project is to identify L5 pyramidal neuron-subtype specific molecules involved in shaping interneurons connectivity. Overall design: We used a retrograde tracing approach (retrobreads) to specifically target L5 IT and L5 ET We then isolated retrobeads-positive cells via Fluorescence Activated Sorting (FACS) at P10, and performed differential gene expression analysis between these 2 L5 pyramidal neuron subpopulations
