Data for 'What causes site-specific intra-event variations of stable isotopes in precipitation in Beijing?'

Stable oxygen and hydrogen isotopic compositions in precipitation carry important climate and hydrological information on the history of water from evaporation, transport to precipitation. This study aims to quantify the effect of potential factors on site-specific intra-event isotopic compositions in precipitation, based on three precipitation events in a mid-latitude region Beijing, China. The tested factors included moisture sources (<i>M</i>_s), upstream rainout fraction (<i>U</i>_p), radar reflectivity factor (<i>Z</i>_e), sub-cloud evaporation fractionation (<i>f</i>_e), local precipitation amount (<i>L</i>_p) and precipitation intensity (<i>I</i>), and relative locations of the sampling sites (downwind or upwind).
