Metagenome Assembled Genomes of bacterial communities in the eastern Southwest Indian Ridge, Indian Ocean

This data presents high-quality metagenome-assembled genomes (MAGs) from hydrothermal plumes of the eastern Southwest Indian Ridge. MAGs associated with methane, metal, and sulfur metabolism were detected at the 67.67°E field. These genomes associated with chemosynthetic pathways distinct from bottom-water communities offer insights into microbial transformation of hydrothermal constituents in deep-sea vent environments.
