Iberian lynx fecal Metagenome

Metagenomic analysis of fecal samples from the endangered Iberian lynx (Lyns pardinus). The animal has a normal health status, calm, the sample was taken 8 hours before the last meal, the corporal status was good and healthy. The Iberian lynx (Lynx pardinus) is native to the Iberian Peninsula and is considered the most endangered felid species in the world. In this study we analysed the co-existence of gene sets to utilize primary and secondary energy supplies in endangered Iberian lynx distal gut.
