Zhongwei goat is famous for its high-quality fur, and at the same time, its cashmere,wool, meat and so on are also deeply loved by people. Its meat quality is delicious and unique, and has high economic value. Body conformation traits is very important in goat breeding industry. It is not only an important indicator in the scoring system of goat industry, but also can directly reflect the body size characteristics and growth and development of goats, but also an important basis to measure the health level and feed efficiency of goats. Zhongwei goat lamb fur can be used for the production of high quality suede, soft and slender fur, Sha fur refers to the fur peeled after 35 days of birth and 7cm, which is equivalent to the Mohair in China. Its leather plate is soft and dense, beautiful spica, tight hair, warm and soft, which is the important economic product of Zhongwei goat. Among them, spica quality is an important indicator of Sha fur quality. The type and shape of the spica have a direct effect on the quality of the Sha fur. However, with the increase of age, the curvature of the coat of the lambs gradually decreased, and the delicate flower pattern gradually disappeared, which significantly affected the aesthetic and economic value of the Sha fur. In this study, the genome-wide association analysis of Zhongwei goat body conformation traits and Sha fur traits, locate the loci significantly associated with body conformation traits and Sha fur traits, through gene annotation, enrichment analysis, further determine the candidate genes related to body conformation traits and Sha fur traits, to explore the theoretical basis of the molecular regulation mechanism of growth and wool growth in Zhongwei goat.
