Metagenomic sequencing of human patient samples

Our project aims to conduct metagenomic sequencing on human patient samples to comprehensively analyze the diverse array of microorganisms present within the human body. By utilizing advanced Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) technologies, we seek to identify and characterize the entire spectrum of microbial communities, including bacteria, viruses, fungi, and other microorganisms. This project will help us gain deeper insights into the complex interactions between these microbes and their human hosts, shedding light on their roles in health and disease. The data generated will be instrumental in understanding microbial contributions to various medical conditions, developing targeted therapeutic strategies, and advancing personalized medicine.
