Dataset for: Photoluminescence of Femtosecond Laser-irradiated Silicon Carbide

This dataset supplies the raw data for our manuscript "Photoluminescence of Femtosecond Laser-irradiated Silicon Carbide". It is divided into three main folders, one for each of the samples mentioned in the manuscript: Data for the HPSI 4H-SiC with a graphene layer sample is in the "Sample with Graphene" folder. Data for the Pristine HPSI 4H-SiC sample is in the "Pristine Sample" folder. Data for the reference HPSI 4H-SiC ion-implanted ensemble is in the " Reference Ensemble" folder. The .npy files are in the binary format used by the Python NumPy library. They can be loaded using NumPy’s load function and, after loading, if necessary converted to .txt files using the Numpy's savetxt function. Confocal images are stored as 2D arrays, with the first two lines corresponding to the x and y positions. Saturation curves contain two lines: the first gives the laser power, and the second gives the counts per second.
