EMO BON Observatory Station BPNS (VLIZ, UGhent, RBINS, KULeuven)

BPNS is an EMO BON observatory station operated by the Flanders Marine Institute (VLIZ), the Ghent University (UGhent), the Royal Belgian Institute of Natural Sciences (RBINS), and the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KULeuven) in Belgium. The sampling site is located in the Belgian part of the North Sea (North Atlantic Ocean). Seawater and marine sediment samples are collected every two months, meiobenthos samples are collected three times a year and macrobenthos samples are collected twice a year. The sampling campaigns started in June 2021. All procedures follow the EMO BON Handbook. All EMO BON genomic data generated from the BPNS observatory station will be included under this study.
