Word frequency of parfoveal two-character words and Chinese readers' parafoveal processing

This study used the Eye Link 1000 Plus system (with a sampling frequency of 10001Hz, a screen refresh rate of 144Hz, and a screen resolution of 1920 * 1080 pixels) to record the process of Chinese readers reading Chinese sentences. This study is divided into two experiments: Experiment 1 Manipulated the word frequency of dual character target words, with each group consisting of a high-frequency word and a low-frequency word, with the same initial word and different ending words for each group of target words. Match the stroke count and word frequency of the final character, totaling 56 sets of target words. Construct two sentence frames for each target word, totaling 112 sets of sentences.
