Data and code for: Oversampling sets the convergence rate of fine-grid TROPOMI NO2 maps over a tropical coastal city
收藏资源简介:
Derived data, analysis results, processing code and final figures for the manuscript "Oversampling sets the convergence rate of fine-grid TROPOMI NO2 maps over a tropical coastal city", submitted to Forum Geografi. The study quantifies how many daily satellite overpasses are needed before a fine-grid nitrogen dioxide map becomes reliable, and compares three gridding routes on an identical 0.01 degree lattice over Surabaya, Indonesia. CONTENTS - data/ : daily tropospheric NO2 column in mol m-2 on a 35 x 20 grid of 700 cells of 0.01 degree, for the 96 consecutive days from 2026-07-01 to 2026-10-04. Missing cells are stored as JSON null and the file is strict JSON. - results/ : 11 JSON files holding every numerical result reported in the manuscript and its tables, including the reliability curves, the paired significance tests, the cell-size crossover test and the cost measurements. - scripts/ : 15 Python files, comprising the analysis pipeline, the figure scripts, the core oversampling libraries (area-weighted tessellation and physical super-Gaussian response), and verify_from_grid.py, a standard-library-only script that reproduces the coverage statistics quoted in the manuscript and prints PASS or MISMATCH. - figures/ : the five manuscript figures at 650 dpi. - MANIFEST.csv : SHA-256 checksum and byte size of every file. SCOPE AND LIMITATIONS The TROPOMI level-2 granules are not re-hosted here. They are publicly available from the Copernicus Data Space Ecosystem at https://dataspace.copernicus.eu/ and amount to about 60 GB for the 96 days. A full rerun of the level-2 routes requires those granules, while the archived daily grid supports independent checks of coverage and of the level-3 route. Two result files, tiga_metode_96.json and ANGKA_FINAL.json, came from a run that also required Earth Engine authentication and cannot be regenerated from this deposit alone.
