The spongy moth Lymantria dispar is a forest pest in Germany. The larvae can cause mass defoliation in trees. The Lymantria dispar multiple nucleopolyhedrovirus (LdMNPV) is known to infect the larvae. This project investigates the prevalence of LdMNPV in L. dispar populations in Germany.
