Becoming kite
收藏资源简介:
Becoming kite Geraldine Burke Recent research has been guided by material thinking, where simple materials become collaborators in generating diagrams, models, and gestural, affective, and relational possibilities. Working with paper, by folding it, and launching it as a plane opened pathways into gestural events and the latent potential held within every fold. Likewise, engaging in material play through the metaphor of the kite has allowed me to reconceive the research process itself as an act of co‑becoming, a dynamic interplay between body, material, and environment. In my kite zine, I imagine what it means to fly a kite through shifting weather systems, creating conditions in which the reader or viewer can move with these currents, feeling their turbulence, their lift, and the invitation to new orientations.
