海岸林長期經自然破壞及人為開發壓力,已從綠色長城漸趨破碎,對於海岸林應有的配置區位及其壓力來源均應釐清。以四湖海岸防風林為例,應用遙測技術進行林相變遷研究分析,瞭解海岸林內林分演替與植群變動,期能建立大尺度的海岸林監測系統,以遙測技術提供較精準與有效的資料來偵測海岸林林分演替、健康監測到林分老化或劣化的評估。運用衛星影像Data Cube資料監測不同時期四湖海岸防風林變動情形,並就林分老化或劣化空間分布進行監測,結果顯示該區域的有零星小塊的負值鑲嵌塊,而負值空間分布區域,空間分布是增加的趨勢,使本區域防風林逐漸出現破碎化的現象。土地利用型變化的情形,森林有些微增加;但土壤裸露的區域也增高。地景指標分析顯示本人工林區已產生逐漸破碎化現象。建議可以參考現地實際情況與遙測的資料,對本區進行整體的海岸林與濕地整合營造之規劃。

Because of long-term natural destruction and stress from artificial development, coastal forest has no longer been the great green wall for Taiwan and gradually broken into pieces. Take Si-hu coastal windbreak for example. Telemetry is used to study stand change in order to understand its succession and vegetation fluctuation. It is expected to build a vast areal monitor system at the Si-hu coastal forest, and then to provide more accurate and effective materials to detect its stand succession, health monitor, and even to evaluate stand ageing and degradation through the monitor process. Satellite image Data Cube is used to monitor the variation among different periods of Si-hu coastal windbreak. By monitoring its stand aging or deterioration spatial distribution, the result shows there are fragmentary parts of negative mosaic in its zone and the negative spatial distribution tends to get more increasing so that the coastal windbreak presents fragmentation. Besides, in the aspect of land use type, forests add a little more; however, the bare soil zone adds more, too. Landscape index analysis also shows this plantation area has presented fragmentation. By reference of the present actual situation and telemetry data, it is suggested to put the coastal windbreak and coastal forests and wetlands together into an integration plan.
