Polystyrene microplastics-induced gut microbiota dysbiosis in female zebrafish (Danio rerio)

Healthy female zebrafish were exposed to Control (Freshwater), PC (gentamicin as positive inducer of gut microbiota dysbiosis at 50 microgram/L concentration , MP50 (50 microgram of Polystyrene MPs/L), MP100 (100 microgram of Polystyrene MPs/L), PC+MP50 (combination of 50 microgram of gentamicin + 50 microgram of Polystyrene MPs/L) and PC+MP100 (combination of 50 microgram of gentamicin + 100 microgram of Polystyrene MPs/L). The potential of MPs to cause gut microbiota dysbiosis of Danio rerio and comparing to gentamicin-induced gut microbiota dysbiosis as positive control, is the main objective of this project.
