This dataset supports the systematic review article "Drivers of Agricultural Commodity Market Volatility and Food Supply Chain Resilience: A Systematic Review", which synthesises evidence from thirty-two (32) empirical studies examining how geopolitical shocks, trade policy uncertainty, and climate risks affect agricultural commodity price dynamics, volatility spillovers, and food supply chain resilience in global markets. The review covers multiple agricultural commodities including wheat, corn, soybeans, and rice, as well as energy commodities (oil, gas), precious metals, industrial metals, shipping and freight, carbon markets, and agri-food supply chains across global markets with specific regional focuses including China, Europe, the United States, G20 countries, and emerging economies. The dataset includes the PRISMA 2020 checklist (Supplementary Document 1), detailed quality assessment results (Supplementary Document 2), full data extraction form (Supplementary Document 3), Extended Data Table Characteristics of the 32 Included Studies including author(s) (Supplementary Document 4), year, research design, data source, period, geographic coverage, commodities, and analytical methods), and the complete reference list of included studies. All files are available under a Creative Commons Zero (CC0 1.0) license.
