NRS-16304 | Agenda papers of the Board of Governors [Charles Sturt University]

This series consists of the agendas and papers (including attachments) for the meetings of the Charles Sturt University (CSU) Board of Governors. This agency succeeded the Interim Board of Governors in 1990, and was the governing body of CSU until 1999 when, under changes made by the Charles Sturt University Amendment Act 1999, the Board of Governors was replaced by Council. The agendas and papers are all typed and are arranged in chronological order. In the first half of the series each meeting has a number. For example, 1/91, 2/91….5/91 etc. However, in 1994 this method was replaced with a sequential running number (31,32, 33….52,53 etc).The agendas are presented first followed by the attachments and any relevant correspondence.The agendas outlined the format that the meetings would follow and those specific matters that were to be addressed. Both the agendas and the attachments were circulated prior to the actual meetings.It should be noted that this series of agendas does include the minutes of the previous meetings. For example, the agenda for meeting number 19 will include the minutes of the previous meeting, that is, meeting number 18. Therefore to locate the minutes of a certain meeting one needs to look at the agenda for the following meeting.
