Replication Data for: Fibre Fabrication of Hybrid Flax Pavilion

This dataset contains fabrication data for the production of fibre-composite building components for the
<a href="https://www.icd.uni-stuttgart.de/projects/hybrid-flax-pavilion/" target="_blank">
Hybrid Flax Pavilion
</a>.
</p>

<p>It includes:</p>

<ul>
<li>
<strong>LFW_Sim Workflow Description.docx:</strong> A description and the pseudocode of the tool (LFW_Sim), which was used to generate tool paths and data exchange files (DataFile) for use on a 4-axis lathe-type filament winding machine.
</li>
<li>
<strong>Production DataFiles.zip:</strong> A zip file containing the actual DataFiles used in production. They have the file format .MPF.
</li>
<li>
<strong>LFW_Wind Program Files.zip:</strong> A zip file with two subfolders. Subfolder Program Files contains the program files used to interpret the DataFile and control the lathe-type filament winding machine. They have the file format .MPF. Subfolder Pseudo-code_English contains pseudocode descriptions of each program file. They have the file format .txt.

<strong>Hybrid Flax Pavilion_HA-CO Carbon_Production Protocol.xlsx:</strong> An Excel document containing records from the serial production of the components of the Hybrid Flax Pavilion.

<strong>Fabrication paths.gh:</strong> A Grasshopper file containing the winding paths used in prototyping and production, as well as winding frame geometry.
</li>
<li>
<strong>Hybrid Flax Pavilion_Prototype Production.xlsx:</strong> An Excel file containing the production details of the winding of the prototype component for the Hybrid Flax Pavilion.
</li>
</ul>
