Probiotic YH-15 alleviates obesity by remodeling gut microbiota and activating hepatic

This study employed a multi-omics strategy integrating metagenomics, metabolomics, and transcriptomics in high-fat diet (HFD)-induced obese mice to investigate the metabolic effects and mechanisms of the probiotic strain Pediococcus acidilactici YH-15. A high-fat diet-induced obesity model was established using C57BL/6 mice, randomly divided into control, HFD, and YH-15 intervention groups (with varying durations). Liver tissues were subjected to H&E staining and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) observation to assess effects. Serum metabolites were detected by GC-MS/MS, gut microbiota was analyzed via 16S rRNA sequencing, and transcriptomic data were jointly analyzed.
