This dataset encompasses zooplankton abundance and biomass data from offshore China marine surveys conducted since 1959. The survey scope covers the Yellow Sea, East China Sea, South China Sea, and the Yangtze River Estuary. The dataset includes sampling station latitude and longitude, sampling time, zooplankton species composition, zooplankton density and biomass, and provides fundamental data for the offshore China marine biological database.
