Environmental evaluation of energy efficiency refurbishment in New Zealand's commercial office buildings
收藏资源简介:
Info This repository includes the data for building prototypes in New Zealand to build life cycle inventory data. Seventeen buildings were simulated for their energy performance in seven regions with climatic variations in NZ and refurbished building prototypes were developed to achieve net zero energy performance (Cory, S, 2021). https://doi.org/10.26686/wgtn.17082833 This data workbook includes the geometry data for (17 x 7) building prototypes that have been used to develop foreground LCI matrices. This foreground data was linked to ecoinvent v3 to estimate the environmental impact of these building refurbishments. The workbook contains the following sheets :- Geometry data - includes the building geometries for each building including info on window area, roof area, window area on each façade, solar shading, façade and insulation type. Selection - This sheet is used to select one of the 119 buildings to generate an LCI specific to this building. Transformation_parameters - This contains specific numbers necessary to calculate the building LCI such as density of materials, thermal conductivity, material weaight and dimentsions. Model - This contains the mass or pieces of the materials used in the refubished building as well as calculation for total amount of material brought to site, amount in waste (including material amounts sent for waste treatment from construction site) LCI - The data from the model is incorporated into an LCI matrix that was integrated with Ecoinvent v3.2 background database to perform LCA. The data from this repository was used to perform life cycle assessments for the PhD research by Agneta Ghose. See http://hdl.handle.net/10179/13410 for more details.
