NRS-13367 | Special bundle: Government departments' responsibility during Civil Defence operations

This bundle consists of a copy of a speech outlining civil defence plans to ensure Government departments remained operational in the event of armed conflict. The speech lists functions peculiar to War-time and the departments which would be responsible for those functions. The bundle also contains a copy of another speech relating to civil defence in Government instrumentalities, copies of plans for the Treasury in the event of war, a brief outline of civil defence aims in Government departments, and copies of organisational Memo No. 7 entitled "Civil Defence in Government Departments and Instrumentalities".
