资源简介:
Data represent ambient temperature recorded from paired U22-001 HOBO® Pro v2 dataloggers (Onset®, Cape Cod, Massachusetts) above and below talus at 13 historic hoary marmot (Marmota caligata) and American pika (Ochonta princeps) occupied patches in the North Cascades National Park Service Complex, Washington, USA. There are 28 .csv files containing temperature data and one .csv file (Alpine_datalogger_2015_2029_location and deployment.csv) documenting logger location and deployment/retrieval dates. A short summary of the logger deployment methods is also provided in PDF format.
Ana Torres Ferreira analyzed this ten-year dataset as part of her Master of Science thesis (Washington State University): "Relating talus characteristics to habitat use by vulnerable alpine mammals in a changing climate." See the external DOI link in "Files and Links."
