To determine effects of primary human macrophages on breast tumor cell mRNA levels, breast carcinoma cell line MCF7 were grown as spheroids in the presence or absence of infiltrating macrophages. Overall design: Breast tumor profiles of MCF7 spheroids +/- infiltrated macrophages were generated by deep sequencing using Illumina TruSeq technology.
