Bulk RNA-Seq of primary human bronchial epithelial cells after transfection with different Cas9 formats

The goal of this study was to assess the immunogenicity of different Cas9 formats and subsequently its impact on gene editing efficacies. We investigated the impact of unmodified and pseuoduridine-modified Cas9 mRNA and Cas9 RNP on the innate immune response of NHBE cells by analysing the transcription profiles of NHBE cells after the different treatments. Overall design: 1-factorial design; primary human bronchial epithelial cells were treated with either of 3 conditions (Cas9 RNP, unmodified Cas9 mRNA, pseudo-uridine modified Cas9 mRNA) or untreated (controls).
