Anthromes 12K Geographic Projection (10,000 BCE to 2015 CE)

The Anthromes 12K Geographic Projection (10,000 BCE to 2015 CE) represents 12,000 years of gridded anthropogenic biomes for 75 time steps between 10,000 BCE and 2017 CE. Anthromes land use classes categorize how the Earth’s biomes have been altered by human activity. The data set is derived from the Anthromes 12K DGG v1 shapefile developed by Ellis Erle and Nick Gauthier. It has been transformed from its original Discrete Global Grid (DGG) format into a gridded data set in Geographic Projection (WGS 1984) to provide a more accessible format for geospatial analysis, and to enable integration with other spatial data using the Geographic Projection.
