Brain-computer Interface technologies (BCIs) possess the potential to unlock and render the informational interactions and generations of the human neocortex and sensorimotor systems of the body in real-time. Researchers predict that these advancements could be accurate enough to distinguish subtle differences of thought ranging through cognitive domains such as intention, planning, preparation, execution, affective domains of thought, cultural differences, and even understanding an individual’s embodied interactions within their physical environment—all serving as potential inputs for AI development. While current simulations are utilized for researching outcomes predicated on variable instantiations of data, I assess that if such a fine-grained interface is achieved, then our Primary World could, itself, be inverted into a simulation. If viable, the data derived from BCIs could also be backpropagated for architecting an increasingly believable real-world simulation(s) congruent with the Simulation Hypothesis. While the scale of these developments requires a multi-worldview think tank to navigate the potential outcomes of BCI advancements, in this article I will utilize J. R. R. Tolkien’s incite, predicated on a Christian worldview, on how imaginative literary Secondary Worlds influence the Primary World, and then apply Tolkien's wisdom to digital Secondary Worlds—Worlds that may draw the Primary World into themselves.
