Computed Dataset of Viscoelastic Metastructures for Vibration Attenuation

This dataset contains all the necessary data to retrieve the vibration attenuation performance of mechanical metastructures generated using shape grammar rules. The data should be interpreted as follows: The dataset_data file includes both the geometrical parameters of each metastructure and their corresponding mechanical performance metrics, such as mass ratio and resonance frequency. On a separate sheet, it also provides the transmissibility vectors for each structure and the corresponding frequency range used in the study. The design_explorer folder contains the geometry images along with their transmissibility plots, as well as a CSV file. All of these files must be integrated into the associated Python script available in the folder MetaExplorer to enable interactive visualization using the Design Explorer tool applied to the metastructures.
