Abstract:
This dataset was produced in 2015, to provide current and projected values of monthly minimum and maximum temperature, and total rainfall. For each of these variables data are provided for 2015, 2020, 2050, and 2080, and for each year values are provided for three IPPC5 projection scenarios - rcp45, rcp65, and rcp85 representing low medium and high increases in CO2 respectively.
The data were first used in Messina et al The many projected futures of Dengue. Nature Reviews Microbiology (2015) http://dx.doi.org/10.1038/nrmicro3430
The input data are compiled from a set of 17 Global Climatic Models that have been ensembled to provide a single dataset for each year and projection scenario
Global monthly data for each parameter for each year are provided separately for each RCP level in the files worldrcpXXmonthly.zip where XX is each RCP

The annual means for each RCP and each year are provided separately for each parameter in files worldYYYYYYYYYYYpresprojallrcp.zip where YY is each parameter (annual Rain, Min Temp, Max Temp)
