UNICEF WHO World Bank Global Children's Nutrition 2025

These datasets are from the official aggregate and regional publications of UNICEF, WHO, and World Bank's joint 2025 report on children's global nutrition levels: UNICEF/WHO/World Bank Joint Child Malnutrition Estimates - Country Estimate, 2025 edition (https://data.unicef.org/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/jme_database_country_model_2025.xlsx); and UNICEF/WHO/World Bank Joint Child Malnutrition Estimates - Regional and Global Estimate, May 2025 (https://data.unicef.org/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/jme_database_aggregate_model_2025.xlsx). More datasets from this joint report regarding child nutrition can be found on: https://data.unicef.org/topic/nutrition/malnutrition/#data These datasets focus on looking at the percentage of prevalence and the number of affected children aged 5 years and under from World Bank Regions. This includes stunting, overweight, wasting and severe wasting of both female and male children, with point estimates and upper and lower limits. Additionally, overweight and severe wasting include the official World Bank's Income classification, for further comparison of the two ends of the nutrition spectrum. Though the original data was published in 2025, it dates only from 2024 to 2000, with 2025's data expected to be released in 2026.
