Total suspended particulate (TSP) dataset from urban and rural coastal sites in the NW Mediterranean (2021–2023)

This dataset presents the chemical and isotopic composition of total suspended particles (TSP) collected at two contrasting coastal sites in the northwestern Mediterranean: an urban site in Endoume (Marseille) and a rural site in Banyuls-sur-Mer. The dataset includes concentrations of major and trace elements, water-soluble ions, organic and elemental carbon (OC, EC), water-soluble organic carbon (WSOC), water-soluble total nitrogen (WSTN), and carbon isotopic ratios (δ¹³C, Δ¹⁴C). Sampling was performed between 2021 and 2023 as part of the ANR FIRETRAC project. Derived parameters such as boundary layer depth (BLD) and dominant air-mass sector are also provided. The dataset supports investigations into the sources and dynamics of atmospheric particulate matter in coastal Mediterranean environments.
