Proportion Piscivore Biomass (PPB) 2014-2018

The Percent Piscivore Biomass (PPB) indicator is part of the RAP suite of metrics used to monitor fish community health in the Lake Ontario nearshore. This data represents a snapshot in time from 2014–2018. Fish communities are monitored during summer and fall. During the fall, fish are more commonly found in the shallow water compared to other times of the year. It is expected that some sites will have lower/higher PPB values compared to the target.
