Klebsiella pneumoniae strain:kp18317 Genome sequencing and assembly

The increasing worldwide prevalence of New Delhi metallo-ß-lactamase (NDM)-producing Klebsiella pneumoniae has limited the therapeutic options to treatment of infections, becoming a major threat to public health. We report here the draft genome sequence of a NDM-1-producing Klebsiella pneumoniae sequence ST1639 strain, isolated from human blood.
