资源简介:
Data across all counties in our U.S. Mexico border states (Arizona, California, New Mexico, and Texas) were collected for the study on the impact of the socio-economic and political status on the county-level COVID-19 vaccination rates. Variables were obtained from various data sources; the Bureau of Labor Statistics, Bureau of Economic Analysis, 2010 US Census, Politico, and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). County-level COVID-19 vaccination rates were found to be significantly associated with the percentage of Democrat votes, elderly population, per capita income, and metropolitan or border county status. The results also revealed notable racial and ethnic disparities in vaccination and booster uptake across counties. The manuscript entitled "Socio-political and Economic Impacts on the COVID-19 Vaccination: US-Mexico Border Study" was submitted for publication.
