 This data presents a comprehensive analysis of a dataset extracted from Web of Science, focusing on data science research. The dataset consists of 5555 rows and encompasses a time period from 2013 to 2023. The study investigates 17 key parameters for each entry, including author(s), title, source, conference information/sponsors, times cited count, accession number, author identifiers, abstract, addresses, affiliations, document type, keywords, cited references, cited reference count, usage count, hot paper status, and highly cited status. By analyzing these parameters, the research aims to gain insights into the trends, patterns, and characteristics of data science publications during the specified time frame. The findings of this study will contribute to a better understanding of the development and impact of data science research, providing valuable information for researchers, practitioners, and stakeholders in the field.
