Radiocarbon in dissolved inorganic carbon in unsaturated zone soil water of semi-arid western India: Implications to groundwater dating

The data set contains sampling locations with depths, δ13C in SOC, soil CO2, soil carbonates and DIC in unsaturated zone soil water (UZSW), Radiocarbon ages of SOC, soil CO2, DIC in UZSW, and soil carbonates from semi-arid western India. The purpose is to correct the radiocarbon ages of groundwater when estimated from dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC). In semi-arid regions, DIC in UZSW may have inputs from older soil carbonates and calcretes in addition to soil CO2 derived component imparting an apparent age to recharging water. With this dataset, this issue has been addressed.
