Fermionic dynamics on a trapped-ion quantum computer beyond exact classical simulation

This repository contains data presented in the manuscript Fermionic dynamics on a trapped-ion quantum computer beyond exact classical simulation. Each physical system corresponds to a folder. In particular, this work focuses on two values of the onsite term in the Fermi Hubbard model, U=0 and U=4, so we have folders U_0 and U_4. Within folders, data is structured in the following files: - shots.h5: raw shots obtained from hardware. - exp_vals.h5: expectation values computed through several time dynamics simulation techniques. You can download and unpack fermionic_dynamics.zip, where you will find a README that explains the data structure, along with some examples of using the shots and expectation values within.
