(Dataset) Fiscal Challenges and Strategies: Irish Revenue during the Reign of Edward II

This dataset is constructed for research investigating the revenue paid into the Irish Exchequer between 1307 and 1327. Database A contains all entries extracted from the original Irish receipt rolls, now held at The National Archives, Kew, London and accessible online via the Virtual Treasury Record. Database B includes entries related to royal pardons and monetary assignments, which have been extracted from the calendared Irish judicial rolls, pipe rolls, memoranda rolls, and the two surviving original memoranda rolls, either printed or held in the National Archives of Ireland. All reference codes can be found in the dataset.
