Gut microbiomics and metabolomics study of selenium-enriched kiwifruit regulating hyperlipidemia mice induced by high fat diet+gut metagenome

Total genomic DNA samples were extracted from feces donors of 24 mice in four groups (NCD group were fed with normal chow diet (D12450J, 10% fat); (2) HFD group were fed with high-fat diet (D12492, 60% fat); (3) HFD+Kiwi group were fed with optimal dose Kiwi (1 g/kg/day) for HFD mice; (4) HFD+Se-Kiwi group were fed with the optimal dose of Se-Kiwi (1 g/kg/day) for HFD mice) using the OMEGA Soil DNA Kit (D5625-01) (Omega Bio-Tek, Norcross, GA, USA).Then, 16S rRNA gene amplicon sequencing of each sample was performed using the 1lllumina MiSeq platform with MiSeq Reagent Kit v3 at Shanghai Personal Biotechnology Co., Ltd (Shanghai, China) according to the regular protocol.
