We performed gene expression profiling analysis using RNA-seq data obtained from mouse lung tissue. The experimental design involved ,topical administration of 100 ul HSV-1 (MOI=1) via nasal drops. On the seventh day, lung tissue was collected for RNA isolation. Subsequently, we investigated key pathways activated following HSV-1 infection and assessed the mitigating effects of methylation inhibitors and ferroptosis inhibitors on lung injury
