Host/virus expression analysis of field and vaccine ILTV strains in different tissues

The primary goal of this project is to investigate the transcriptional and translational landscape associated with infection with field and vaccine strains of GaHV-1 (ILTV) and the differences in response in conjunctiva vs trachea. A combination of quantitative short-read RNA-Seq, long-read IsoSeq, and LC-MS/MS was used to refine structural viral annotations and quantify expression under these conditions.
