Supplementary material: Trade-off between foraging and vigilance in the Red-legged Seriema

This dataset contains information on creating a red-legged seriema detection model, used in the behavioural research on red-legged seriemas (Cariama cristata) assessing the trade-off between foraging and vigilance. The dataset consists of the input used for the model, the output of the model itself and a elaborate markdown file explaining how to create such an animal detection model. This dataset and workflow are have been used in the research of assessing the trade-off between foraging and vigilance in the red-legged seriema where a YOLOv8 detection model aided the video selection for behavioural analysis.
