Tuckombil Landcare Teven Memorial Reserve Bush Regeneration Connectivity Project

This project will eradicate invasive woody weeds; predominantly Camphor Laurel, Lantana, Privet, Coral Tree and Madeira Vine from the South-Eastern section and the adjacent riparian areas of Maguire's Creek. To date 340 volunteer hours by Tuckombil Landcare and the local veterans association maintained/encouraged the native bush at North-Western half of Teven Memorial Reserve. Existing native plants will be preserved and extensive local endemic native species plantings will replace the eradicated weeds. Tuckombil Landcare members will participate in monthly bush regeneration working bees. Professional bush regenerators contracted to complete remaining regeneration work. Post project maintenance, field days, school visits by our group.
