Targeted multi-omic analysis of human skin tissue identifies alterations of conventional and unconventional T cells associated with burn injury

The project aims to phenotype and describe conventional T cells and unconventional T cells in discarded human skin tissue in burn and non-burn context. Our study employs flow cytometry and single cell RNA-sequencing to understand the subsets of T cells present and their possible effector molecule production. scRNA-seq data of T cells was generated using sorted CD3+ T cells from 3 different samples from burn and non-burn discarded skin tissue from human subjects. This study is the first to look at T cells in human burn tissue.
