This project evaluates the impact of Bacillus subtilis based treatments combined with Mg, Zn, and Hoagland nutrient solution on the microbial communities of Huanglongbing affected citrus plants. Amplicon sequencing was performed on samples collected before treatment and one month after application to investigate treatment induced shifts in microbial diversity and composition. Comparative analyses were conducted among control, B. subtilis alone, B. subtilis with Mg, B. subtilis with Zn, and B. subtilis with Hoagland treatments. The study aims to assess whether integrated biocontrol and nutrient management can modulate citrus-associated microbiomes toward beneficial assemblages, potentially contributing to mitigation of HLB disease pressure and improvement of plant health.
