Luffa cylindrica (Luffa) is a kind of melon crop widely cultivated in temperate region worldwide. Browning is one of the serious factors affecting the quality of Luffa. Therefore, it is of great significance to study the molecular mechanism of Luffa browning. Transcriptome analysis was conducted to investigate the divergence between two Luffa cultivars with resistant and sensitive browning characteristics, respectively.
