Whole-genome sequencing of Clostridium perfringens type A isolated from a zoo-housed hippopotamus

This BioProject contains raw whole-genome sequencing data for Clostridium perfringens type A strain OH-TH01, isolated from the small intestine of a zoo-housed adult hippopotamus (Hippopotamus amphibius) that died suddenly with fibrinonecrotic and hemorrhagic enteritis. The data consist of raw Illumina paired-end reads deposited in the NCBI Sequence Read Archive (SRA) to support transparency and future comparative analyses.
