The aim of this work was to provide data for a comprehensive understanding of metabolic changes, to explore the signal pathways or physiological processes involved in the response to SA and MJ under heat stress. The results will be helpful to shed light on the heat tolerance mechanism by plant hormones in lower plants, and will benefit the algal breeding with high-temperature-tolerant variety.
