资源简介:
Aldrichina grahami (Aldrich, 1930) is a common blow fly species which mainly distribute in east Asia and has expanded to American continent in the past several decades. This blow fly usually breeds on feces or carcasses. A. grahami is wildly reported as a forensically important insect because of its necrophagous behavior. In early spring and late autumn, when the ambient temperature is relatively lower, A. grahami is frequently the first species to colonize on corpse. And it is the only colonizer which complete the whole life history in some extreme cases. In addition to the forensic importance, cases of Ch. grahami caused myiasis. This blow fly species is also a potential transmitter of pathogens, like H5N1 influenza virus.
