Replication package for "When apparent decoupling coincides with a series discontinuity: auditing modeled dairy methane in Minas Gerais, Brazil"

Reproducible package for the article "When apparent decoupling coincides with a series discontinuity: auditing modeled dairy methane in Minas Gerais, Brazil". It audits a two-point municipal inventory of modeled dairy enteric methane (2010 vs 2021; 848 of the state's 853 municipalities) and screens it against the annual 2010–2024 series of the Municipal Livestock Survey (PPM), documented data vintages and period-matched 2006 and 2017 Agricultural Census benchmarks. Contents: assembled 2010/2021 municipal snapshots; raw SIDRA/IBGE API payloads (PPM tables 94 and 74 by municipality 2010–2024, state totals, table 3939, census tables 1097 and 6912, aggregate metadata and period modification dates) with a retrieval log (URL, UTC time, SHA-256); machine-readable census benchmark (census_benchmark.csv) and documented first-release values and revision notices (vintage_evidence.csv); pipeline, annual-series diagnostics, graphical-abstract script, pinned requirements, automated tests, and the complete build with a SHA-256 manifest generated after the final build. The annual diagnostics detect and describe a candidate discontinuity in the PPM count of cows milked (2016→2017) and report scenario estimates; they do not separately identify statistical revision and change in the production system. All results refer to the SIDRA vintage current on 25 September 2026. Version 3 adds the raw payloads and retrieval log, the census benchmark and vintage files, coverage and common-support diagnostics, scenario and Tapio-threshold sensitivity tables, a manifest covering all files, aligned requirements, corrected documentation and new tests.
